Add a touch of Vintage Vuitton to your home. . . x

Whilst browsing the internet for a little inspiration for decorating at home, I came across these images and instantly fell in love!
A girl can never have enough clothes, bags or shoes and as I have always thought like this, over the years my collection of the above has grown tremendously. . . The only down side to this is 'storage'.
As a lover of everything vintage instead of forking out £££'s at my local Argos, I spent a little less money on a collection of vintage suitcases and have also been lucky enough to inherit a couple of beautiful antique trunks and I think a little more personality.

'Storage' problem solved!

I love how these people have used their Loius Vuitton trunks in their homes. . .

And here are a few snaps around my house, one day they will be Louis Vuitton. . .

The above trunk is by far my favourite as it was passed down to me recently from my grandparents and will have a huge place in my heart as they always will. . .

An old toy chest can store a lot of shoes ;)

Do any of you guys collect vintage or antiques for storage? x

Hair and Fashion. . . x

As I mentioned in one of my first posts I work as a hair stylist for one of the biggest Companies worldwide - Toni & Guy. This job gives me lots of opportunities within the fashion industry, for example working backstage at London fashion week combining my passion for hair and fashion at the same time. . .

Last night however I was at the Westminster Plaza in London to support my salon take part in the L'Oreal Colour Trophy regional finals, one of the biggest competitions in the hairdressing industry. A competition that combines hair, fashion and pure talent. Salons around the country create a fashion forward look on a model, styling hair cut & colour, clothes and make-up and the best look wins. The winner gets the opportunity to style a shoot for 'Vogue' magazine amongst a lot of other things. . . Here are a few highlights of the night. . . x

Unfortunately my salon Toni & Guy Essensuals Guildford didn't get through to the grand finals despite an AMAZING effort put in by my work colleagues Becky and Seth, but the evening was very motivational and inspirational to me anyway.
A big congratulations to Toni & Guy Camberley who indeed did make it through to the grand final! :)

To Brighton and Beyond. . . x

As I mentioned in a previous post, I LOVE Brighton! Luckily so does my lovely boyfriend which means we spend a fair bit of time there at weekends. . .
I've had a bit of a love affair with this place for a long time, soo many amazing vintage shops, quirky cafes and funky bars. Even without these, I would still visit the place purely to stroll along the pier and people watch all day - such an eclectic collection of styles with each corner turned.
There is just something about being by the sea that relaxes me, I could quite easily uproot and move down there. Although my ultimate dream would have to be the east coast of Australia, but that's a whole different story. . .
Here's a few snaps from our last visit, starting with my outfit choice for the day, sad I know but I easily feel self-conscious and the simple task of getting ready in the morning can sometimes take a while!

I found these sweet trousers whilst on a day trip to one of my fave places EVER - Brighton, in one of my fave shops at that, Beyond Retro! Definately worth a visit if vintage and bargains float your boat!

I keep seeing this Pyjama style trouser all over the fashion pages/blogs everywhere, but didn't quite think this was a style I could easily pull off. . . But man are they comfy! Yes in conclusion, I like very much!

Outfit Post No. 1. . . x

Here we are, my first outfit post. . . Not entirely sure what I'm supposed to write here, I'm sure I'll soon get the hang of it though. I don't tend to have a particular style, I dress for me, and I don't like to wear the same outfit twice. . . Instead I will wear something in a different way or customise various items. I get bored quickly ;)

Enjoy. . .
