To Brighton and Beyond. . . x

As I mentioned in a previous post, I LOVE Brighton! Luckily so does my lovely boyfriend which means we spend a fair bit of time there at weekends. . .
I've had a bit of a love affair with this place for a long time, soo many amazing vintage shops, quirky cafes and funky bars. Even without these, I would still visit the place purely to stroll along the pier and people watch all day - such an eclectic collection of styles with each corner turned.
There is just something about being by the sea that relaxes me, I could quite easily uproot and move down there. Although my ultimate dream would have to be the east coast of Australia, but that's a whole different story. . .
Here's a few snaps from our last visit, starting with my outfit choice for the day, sad I know but I easily feel self-conscious and the simple task of getting ready in the morning can sometimes take a while!

Pyjama Pants. . . x

Outfit post no.2 shows off my newly purchased green printed pyjama style pants. I found these sweet trousers whilst on a day trip to one of my fave places EVER - Brighton, in one of my fave shops at that, Beyond Retro! A huge Aladdin's cave of a shop with anything and everything vintage and wearable at affordable costs. . .
Definately worth a visit if vintage and bargains float your boat!

I keep seeing this Pyjama style trouser all over the fashion pages/blogs everywhere, but didn't quite think this was a style I could easily pull off. . . But man are they comfy! Yes in conclusion, I like very much!

Outfit Post No. 1. . . x

Here we are, my first outfit post. . . Not entirely sure what I'm supposed to write here, I'm sure I'll soon get the hang of it though. I don't tend to have a particular style, I dress for me, and I don't like to wear the same outfit twice. . . Instead I will wear something in a different way or customise various items. I get bored quickly ;)

Enjoy. . .

The white dress I got from a market in Australia.
Mesh top - Mango.
Bag - charity shop for £3.
Fox tail and dream catcher keyring on bag - made by me :)
Heeled clogs - Primark £19.
Body chain - Topshop £19.

Thinking Pink. . . x

Working for Toni & Guy gives me every opportunity to re-invent my look using the magic of hair colour. . .
In the past my hair has been pretty much every shade of the rainbow, except for a brighter shade of pink.

My last experiment was a softer shade of pink/purple shown below

Ever since I laid eyes on this hot chick AKA Charlotte Free and her hot pink hair, I've been tempted to follow suit. . .

More hot chicks with pink hair. . .

What do you gorgeous people think, shall I reach for the pink? . . . X

Vintage Shopping Sunday. . .

Died and gone to antique heaven. . .

Totally in love with the antler light fixture above!

So a couple of Sundays ago the boyfriend and I went to check out this beautiful old farmhouse, that has been converted into a labrynth filled to the rafters, or in this case 'old heavy set beams' with all the antique furnishing treasures you could ever hope to find under one roof!

'The Packhouse' near Farnham, Surrey has been there for a while and yet I had never stumbled upon this amazing antique wonderland. . . Every corner I turned was something unique, old and screamed take me home. From huge ornately carved wardrobes to heavy silver candlesticks, and more.
I fell in love instantly and imagined in my mind where each thing would go in my dream home. . .
Shall definately save up before my next visit!

Any of you discovered any exciting places lately? x
